Laura served as Senior Program Officer for the Pallottine Foundation of Huntington for four years before moving into the CEO role in January 2024. Her experience centers on grant program design and oversight, health programming and policy development, and advocacy. Before joining the Foundation, Laura worked for more than eight years at the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission overseeing state programming and policy related to rural health workforce development. She previously served as the Director of the West Virginia Long Term Care Partnership, a statewide initiative facilitating collaboration and policy development by professionals working in geriatrics and long-term care. Prior to moving to West Virginia, Laura was employed as a state policy analyst for the national Alzheimer’s Association where she worked with state chapters in advancing Alzheimer policy issues before state legislatures and agencies. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon. Laura earned her undergraduate degree in government from Colby College and is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law.

Tracy joined the Pallottine Foundation in July 2024, bringing with her over 17 years of financial expertise. Most recently, she served as Health System Budget Manager for Marshall Health Network in Huntington. Tracy worked for the system more than 13 years and was instrumental in driving cost-containment strategies and enhancing operational efficiencies. Her adept management of operating and capital budgets, along with her skills in expense optimization and improvements, made a lasting impact. Tracy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting with a minor in economics from Marshall University. She is deeply committed to her community, serving as the Board treasurer for Covenant School in Huntington. Tracy’s dedication and passion have been recognized by Generation Huntington, the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce, and United Way of the River Cities. She currently serves as Director of Finance and Operations for the Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon.

Before joining the Foundation in 2021, Kim worked in Marketing & Community Relations at St. Mary’s Medical Center for more than 16 years. Her experience centers on executive communication, stakeholder engagement, branding, storytelling, event planning, and public relations. Her professional experience includes freelance writing for several regional magazines and copy editing for a local newspaper. Kim served on the Greater Lawrence County Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in South Point, OH, for several years and is a member of The Communications Network and Public Relations Society of America. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marshall University and is currently Director of Communications for the Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon.

Jana’s experience has focused on ministry and community development. Her work has centered on bridging together faith communities, healthcare institutions, and community-based organizations in holistic care and well-being in communities across Appalachia. She has been the driving force behind multiple community initiatives, including the Highlawn Alliance, and previously served as the Executive Director of FaithHealth Appalachia. An ordained minister, Jana has served in various ministerial roles for local congregations. Jana has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Liberty University in West Liberty, WV, and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degree from Palmer Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. She joined the Foundation in 2020.

Claire’s experience has centered on education, advocacy, and fostering community connections. Most recently, Claire worked in higher education as Coordinator of the Marshall University Women’s & Gender Center. In this role, she oversaw collaborative programming and student-focused services. Previously, Claire served Cabell County families as a Resource Specialist for the Mountain State Healthy Families home visiting program. She has also worked extensively with youth in residential care at Pressley Ridge Grant Gardens. Claire holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in history from Marshall University. She joined the Foundation in July 2021.

Ashley comes to the Pallottine Foundation with more than 13 years of nonprofit program management experience and a strategic focus on initiatives that advance career skills training and workforce development. She previously served as the director of Creating Opportunities for Recovery Employment (CORE) in Huntington where she established, designed, and implemented a 16-county workforce infrastructure to support individuals with barriers to employment. Ashley earned her master’s degree in sociology and bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from Longwood University, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix. She joined the Foundation in January 2026.

Abbi’s experience centers on advancing community well-being through innovative program design, strategic collaboration, and data-driven performance evaluation. Previously, she served as Program Director of Compass Huntington, an innovative program that promotes holistic wellness for first responders. A lifelong West Virginian, Abbi is deeply committed to strengthening systems of care and improving outcomes for rural communities. She earned master’s degrees in social work and public administration, as well as bachelor’s degrees in social work and multidisciplinary studies, from West Virginia University. Her academic training included women and gender studies, leadership studies, and sociology. Abbi joined the Foundation in January 2026.
