Mental and Behavioral Health

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. – World Health Organization

The Pallottine Foundation of Huntington recognizes that many Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia residents struggle with serious mental health conditions including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and anxiety. The current substance use disorder challenges have placed an additional burden on the mental health providers working daily to provide treatment in our community.

Our Foundation supports programs and services that address such challenges in our communities including, but not limited to:

  • Residential Treatment Center Programs
  • Outpatient Counseling Programs
  • School-Based Services and Therapy
  • Mental and Behavioral Health for Foster Children
  • Mental and Neurological Disorders for Older Adults
